Elina Frumerman is a multi-disciplinary artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born in the Soviet Union, her work is influenced by her experience as a refugee immigrating to the United States.
Frumerman's interdisciplinary practice encompasses photography, painting, printmaking, book design, and installation. Through these mediums, she explores how we construct realities and interpret the narratives that surround us.
Currently a 2025 MFA candidate at Stanford University, Frumerman previously studied design at California College of the Arts. Her work "Stateless" is currently on display at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. She has also exhibited at the Berkeley Art Center, Coulter Gallery, and The Jones Institute.
